In this Lock down poor fitness has become a major problem to everyone. As everything became online and automated we are not getting the proper exercise we need in our daily lives.

You can have a great exercise just by dancing. It makes you feel better about yourself. You will be more confident. As you can see, this is just scratching the surface of dancing. It’s not about just shuffle dance it can be anything. But this time, we are talking about Shuffle Dance.

I did a 30 day shuffle dance challenge. It was guided by Anastasiia Kirilik . You can check her out through the link. Mind you I don’t have any prior experience with dancing and don’t need it as well.

This dance mostly involves shuffling you legs continuously while balancing yourself with your hands. You can learn the most of the techniques with little efforts. This dance is mostly performed to electronic music. But you don’t have to limit yourself to electronic music. You can be creative and try new things.

Pre-requisites

Is there anything you need to know before starting to shuffle? No, You don’t don’t need any prior knowledge of how to dance as I said earlier.

What are the Benefits?

Shuffling has many benefits not only physically but mentally as well. Here are some of them

Physical Benefits

  • It’s literally a portable full body workout(You can do it anywhere)
  • It improves hand-eye coordination and reduces clumsiness.
  • It strengthens your legs and glutes.
  • It works your abdominal muscles with the twists and turns.
  • It can burn 500–1500 calories depending on how much you do.(They are just an estimate. Can burn more or less)
  • Makes you Attractive
  • Increase in stamina

Mental Benefits

  • It helps in releasing endorphins which will make you feel good.
  • Shuffle dance needs a lot of concentration, which is developed by practicing it daily.
  • It helps in relieving stress.
  • Boots confidence and self-esteem.
  • You are basically stepping out of you comfort zone.
  • Makes you joyful
  • You’ll form a connection with music.
  • You don’t have to be shy anymore to dance in-front of your friends or at party

Shuffle dance is getting popular day by day. It is very versatile. You make new moves. Mix it with other forms of dance. Just a fifteen minute dance, and you can burn a lot of calories. It will even increase your stamina. Knowing how to Dance is very attractive and it has it’s charm.

Is it worth learning?

Yes, it is definitely worth learning. It is one of the easiest forms of dance present out there. The best part is that you don’t even need a personal trainer to help you learn the techniques.
